In December, thanks to the Czech Hotel Awards, we went to Mikulov, specifically hotel Galant. Since Philip and I didn't get anywhere on our own after the wedding, we took it as an opportunity for a honeymoon together, and because we arranged a babysitter, we went out all alone for 3 nights for the first time, without Emma. In this article, I would like to bring hotel Galant in Mikulov a little closer.
Location of the hotel
The hotel is located in a beautiful location Mikulov. From one side it overlooks the Holy Hill, on the other you can see the center of Mikulov. Mikulov Square is just a 3-minute walk away. It's possible to say in the center. The hotel can take a pleasant walk in about 20-30 minutes.
Hotel facilities and services
One of the hotel's biggest attractions is its own wellness, sauna and swimming pool, which is located on the roof of the hotel, and on the open terrace you can use two hot tubs with unforgettable views of Mikulov Castle and Svatý kopeček. The hotel offers the possibility of massages, cosmetics.
The Galant Brewery is also located in the hotel, so you can also taste local specialties, for example, directly in the brewery restaurant, which is located next to the hotel. You can also visit the wine cellar.
Free private parking is available at the hotel complex. The Internet is a matter of course.
Room amenities
We had a deluxe double room with balcony and a view of the Holy Hill. True, we didn't use the balcony much in December, but I can imagine that in the summer there may be an reception. Otherwise the room was really spacious and clean. Lots of room in the closets for both the suitcase and the suitcase itself. There was also a safe in the closet. The room also had bathrobes and slippers made available and the tayk that they used in the already mentioned wellness :). We were in Moravia, so the room was not allowed to miss even wine glasses, which we also appreciated as wine lovers. So we can appreciate the beer, too, when it comes to 🙂
Catering
A luxury breakfast is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served buffet style and chosen by really everyone. In addition, the chef made fresh pancakes, pancakes or eggs right in front of us. In summer, the terrace is also open, so one can start the day with excellent food and a view of the Holy Hill. What more could you ask for?

The hotel gave us a great, friendly and clean impression. All of the staff were nice, helpful. The hotel has a great location, parking, excellent breakfast, wellness with amazing view, own beer, restaurant, wine cellar, we also noticed a small playground near the parking lot, so even for families, the hotel can be a great choice when exploring Mikulov. south Moravia. In addition, near Mikulov there is also the famous Aqualand Moravia, where everyone can enjoy it. We also took a trip there without our Emma and tried all the water slides and attractions that went 🙂
